ND=Overrated
Notre Dame pulls out a 38-31 win in the final minute against Stanford. The Cardinal really played a tremendous game and hung with Notre Dame throughout. This would also be a good time to remind folks that this is the same Stanford team that LOST to 1-AA newbie Cal-Davis earlier in the season. The Irish are overrated and don't deserve the BCS bid that they will receive. Oregon deserves it more than they do. Maybe TCU deserves it more than they do, considering the Horned Frogs beat 7-4 Oklahoma. Notre Dame's crowning victory was against 7-4 Michigan. The Irish lost to 5-6 Michigan State AT HOME. "Near wins" don't count. ND receives the majority of their credit for almost beating Southern Cal. "Almost" isn't good enough.
Notre Dame will get smacked by their bowl opponent and extend their streak of years without a bowl win. If Penn State doesn't back into the Rose Bowl, I hope PSu gets a shot at dear old ND.

BCS Bowl teams would love to play Oregon and would be very nervous if they had to face a Charlie Weis ND team that has a month to prepare for a game.
Penn State has been just as lucky as the Irish this year and the Irish will face Penn State in week 2 of next season and Nittany Lions fans will understand why ND has locked up Charlie Weis for ten years!
Funny how Charlie Weis gets a TEN year contract at a point in his first season where Notre Dame was not as good as it was for Ty Willingham's first season there. Please list 1 team currently in the top 10 that ND has beaten. Oh yeah, you can't.
A 7-4 Michigan team WHO BEAT Penn State. LOL. You don't want ND in the BCS because you know there's a chance ND will face Penn State, and we all know that you don't want that to happen.

Notre Dame is 0-7 in their last 7 bowl games and was outscored something like 243-123. Who the hell out there is still interested in Watching Notre Dame in a bowl game. Plus they get 16 million dollars that they don't have to share. How can this team have any fans at all? Certainly none of their fans has any concept of fairness.
