Orange Bowl

Florida State vs. Penn State (-7.5)

Because you can’t spell Fraudulent Southern Usurper without FSU. This match features Joe Paterno, the all-time winningest coach in D-1 history, and Bobby Bowden, the southern-fried blow bag who thinks he is. Next thing you know, they’ll start counting wins by any Bowden. However, I’m less impressed with Bowden’s counting skills and more with his near-perfect bowel control. Since it is a foregone conclusion that Uncle Joe will be chalking up this victory, the real bet is how many adult diaper changes the FSU will require during the game.

And yes, I know that being a Penn State guy taking age shots at a coach is solidly in “glass house” territory. I hope I can still run out on to the field when I’m 78.
